Dear Brethren;

VISA APPROVED MAY 23 DEPARTURE
Patience has been rewarded. We have been granted a two-year renewable visa. This will allow us to establish the ground work for the Oceania Outreach printing ministry.

Before we can leave though we need to raise the necessary funds for this work. During our wait for visas several congregations have withdrawn the support they had been giving as they were not sure we were ever going to New Zealand. We also need to retire the indebtedness incurred last year when I had to fly Abraham home and then go to New Zealand and straighten out the snafu (new dictionary entry) with the car. We still owe $5700 customs duty on the car; $1300 repairs on the car and shipment of car from Auckland to Tauranga; $2020 for tickets for Abraham and myself; $3900 outstanding amount for shipping our crate from Papua New Guinea to New Zealand. We also still owe $1500 on the tickets to get us back to New Zealand.

The reason we have to leave so quick is that our return tickets expire in early June. With this background please review the enclosed "Needs" list. Your funds will make it possible for many thousands of people to read/hear the "Good News" through the printed page. Time is at a premium, therefore please make your contribution as soon as possible.
