Dear Friends, Brethren and Family
Greetings in the name of Jesus.
We pray that on the eve of the Labor Day Weekend that
you have a safe weekend wherever you are or go! We know some, several, a couple
- well one for sure who will be travelling.
We would like to ask a favor of those who will be travelling to other places on this weekend. When you go to worship on Sunday (don't let me find out you didn't go somewhere!) would you please talk to someone there and tell them about our needs. Give them a copy of this email (or the attached flyer you can print out) if nothing else.
The training of workers in the islands is of paramount
importance, we need everyone's help. If they would just let us come and talk
about the work and needs..........
Not only do we need the money to build the school but
we are seeking an additional $600 for personal support before we return in November.
PLEASE PLEASE TALK WITH YOU CONGREGATION OR PERSONAL
CONTACTS.
Your seed-sowing brother and sister.

The Christian Institute of Biblical Studies
- Fiji is being established to provide English-speaking Christians in the Oceania
region of the South Pacific with Biblical studies to equip them to reach into
the far reaches of the South Pacific with a combined population of over 30 million
souls speaking over 1,000 different languages.
At present there are fewer than 20 missionary families serving in this region
(within the circle) spanning over 50 million square miles. Providing
Biblical training to foreign nationals will allow the kingdom to multiply itself
many times over into language groups and countries where we presently have little
or no work going on or where there are small groups of struggling Christians.
The location of Fiji allows for this Bible Institute to be unique as it will
be conducted in the customs, cultures and climate like their respective island
nations thus allowing for a minimum alteration of their life styles so as to
have a minimum of stress when they return from their studies to their island
nation of citizenship.
Some people we have contacted seem to be confused as to what
we are trying to accomplish in Fiji. We are not competing with Bible Training
Schools in New Zealand, Australia or Papua New Guinea. This is not a Preacher
training school but a Bible Training Facility to train ALL students in ALL aspects
of Christian service. I have also enclosed some pictures and prices of what
some individual facilities will cost if someone or a congregation would like
to make that their project (and have the naming rights for that building if
they wish)
This is our plea: we need your help with finances to establish this Bible School facility in Fiji.
In the background are 2 acres donated by Fijian Christians for the school property
with additional land we can lease for crops

School facilities NEEDS:
(1) Finances - (for a five year period, at the end of which we hope to
have established sustainable crops which will provide for the future operating
expenses of the school; this in itself is a unique objective of the school as
compared to others who have to continue to solicit support from outside sources.
a. $125-250,000 (for lease payment on property, structural
building and furnishings)
b. $3,500 per month (staff salaries, student
and operating expenses)
(2) Prayers -

#1 - You are our extended family with contacts that we do not have. You know
people that we do not know. Unfortunately initial support for mission work comes
not as a result of who you are and what great plans you have but who you know
most times. We need you to MAKE CONTACTS FOR US, BY EITHER SETTING UP APPOINTMENTS
FOR US OR SENDING US NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS OF THE PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE OUR
PLEA A REALITY. Surely most of you can do that!
#2 - Can you personally help us with a one time financial gift
of $50? Can you personally help us with $25 a month for a least a year? Will
you PLEASE? Some of you already have helped and we appreciate it very
much!
#3 - If you cannot help personally would you ask people and/or
congregations you know to help one time or monthly? PLEASE!
We really need your help setting up appointments to talk with
congregations and people who can help us with the plan of building the Bible
training school in Fiji and for additional personal support ($600 p/month) that
we trying to secure.
If any of you can help with appointments or one time help financially it would
be appreciated.
You can contact my son, Jason Huff or myself through email or
phone.
