July 1980
Dear Brethren:
So much has happened since we arrived back that it is unreal.
Kathy had her surgery July 21 and returned home July 28. They did a complete
hysterectomy. The doctor went ahead and removed her appendix also. He said she
had signs of past attacks of appendicitis. It's just amazing how the Lord watches
over us. If she had suffered a ruptured appendix over in New Guinea, she probably
would have been a goner. She has been recovering just super. She's already talking
back to me. Thanks for your prayers.
Starting in early September we will begin our inevitable missionary meanderings.

Gallup, N. Mex.-Kayenta, Ariz.Amarillo, Lubbock, Dallas & Abilene,Texas

Guinea and what people here could box up and send us from time to time. Such
items as : Paper goods (plates, cups, towels & napkins), tea bags; cake
mixes; jello; instant puddings, cinnamon; spices; bacon bits; kool-aid; pizza

Some of you who receive this newsletter maybe could be helpful with our printing needs. We need contacts through whom we can purchase (or accept a donation of) a folding machine and a letterhead (Kroy) making machine. The cheaper we can buy it the more we have to spend for the other needed equipment. Ring 417-624-40l6 and leave a message if you can help in anyway or want us to be sure and come show our slides at your congregation. As the song goes: "Hang on to your money, we are on our way honey".
